Daycare description / philosophy

**Due to demand of day care needed, I am now opening April 1st!

I will be opening my own private day home May 1st 2011. Sooner if child care is needed. I have over 6 years of professional experience with children specializing in special needs. I am accredited with an Education Assistant Diploma, CPR level C, Basic Course Certificate from Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis and have attended many workshops regarding children's nutrition, child behavior and psychology, speech language, sign language, occupational and physical therapy and have participated in numerous in-services regarding the Autism Spectrum Disorder in which I have specialized in for the past 3 years. With my extensive experience as an Early Intervention Therapist, Special Needs Aid and Autism Support Worker, I am willing and able to take in a child with special needs (depending on aggression and behavior towards other children).

I am a strong believer in natural living so proccessed foods will be
limited for the two snacks and lunch that will be provided.

Our home is a relaxed, easy going environment that encourages good manners, respect for one another and tender care. We love reading and playing outside! My day home schedule will consist of two optional circle times where singing, books and games are key and maybe a bit of yoga too! Crafts and lots of outdoor play will be incorporated throughout the days with weather permitting.

Both police checks and child welfare checks will be done on both my spouse and I.
